1. Join in on Memes. Things like Wordless Wed. and Thursday Thirteen. People do click the links. This is a great way to have ready content for your blog and get links back to your blog.
2. Try Top 5 or Top 10 lists…. these are pretty easy to come up with and you could do a variety. Top 5 Books of all time, Top 5 Pet Peeves, Top 5 Websites for Readers, etc.
3. Pick a topic you’re interested in and visit related blogs. If you enjoy cooking, go to google, do a blog search for cooking. See what others are talking about. Can you write a post in reponse to someone elses? Great… that’s ready content. Don’t forget to post thoughtful comments on others blogs.
4. Reply to comments made on your blog. Try to get a conversation rolling. This shows you’re interested. And it’ll make visitors feel special and keep them coming back. Plus you might get ideas for future blog posts.
5. Talk about someone elses book or blog. Make your post interesting and informative. Include facts, excerpts and/or pictures.
