Save Money on Printer Ink

Looking to save a little cash in 2010? Change your font!

An article over at yahoo says that if you switch from Arial to Century Gothic (which I prefer anyway) you could save up to $20 this year on ink. These changes are likely to save corporations and schools thousands over the course of the year. But we all know that writers like to print stuff, maybe not as much these days. And thank goodness for publishers who accept e-submissions.

But if your office still has a paper trail, read the article for yourself.

And while you’re looking at switching fonts, check out this “green” font. The center of each letter is full of holes so it uses less ink. You can’t see the difference with the naked eye, but supposedly, it’ll save you money on ink.
