Writing a Book Marketing Plan – How to Create an Effective Plan for Distributors and Book Sellers

Many self published and small press authors are learning that they must have a marketing plan in order to get their books accepted for distribution by wholesalers and book sellers. The Writing a Book Marketing Plan workshop provides tips on how to create a marketing plan for promoting small press and self-published books to distributors and book sellers like Borders and Barnes & Noble. We will discuss how to locate research information, how to write the different parts of a marketing plan, how to prepare the plan for presentation, and how to contact key decision-makers.
