A Hard look at 2009

With only a few days left of 2009 it’s time to take a look, a hard look, at what went well, what went wrong, which goals you achieved, which goals fell short in 2009, and what you need to improve on in 2010.

Let’s start with a question.

What went right in 2009?

  • In what ways did you succeed?
  • Which New Years resolutions did you keep?
  • Which goals did you achieve?

Okay, that was more like four questions. Take a few minutes to think about the answers. Write them down.

Now, for more questions.

What went wrong in 2009?

  • In what ways did you fail?
  • Which New Years resolutions didn’t you keep?
  • Which goals didn’t you achieve?

Yeah, those are hard to read, much less answer. But try it anyway.

Now…

  • What needs work in 2010?
  • What do you want out of 2010?

  1. I didn’t last at exercise, after I developed bronchitis and the cold weather I fell off the wagon.

Going to try again this year when we get settled into a routine with his treatments, tax season and work.It might be spring but hey I can shoot for that goal.

I did submit my partial, six months after they asked for it. :-(

I made my NaNo count but could have done so much better wasn’t for the games and emails sucking me in. ;-)

I survived dealing with my husbands serious health issues and stayed sane at the same time.

  2. Games tend to do that. I try to stay away from solitaire. :)
