Have you done the math? If you write 1000 words a day, at the end of a year you’ll have 365,000 words. How many full length novels is that? How many category length stories or novellas is that?
Even if you don’t write on weekends or holidays… say you don’t write 10 days a month. You’d still write 245,000 words.
Say you write 500 words a day: 122,500 words a year (with 10 days off a month)
Once you do the math, things seem easier, yes? You know exactly how many words you need to submit to the publisher of your choice. And now you know how many days you need to write to get to that wordcount. Your biggest issue now is finding the right words. Good luck with that.
